Trekking trails and nature to get lost in

Just a few steps from the house, you can walk through the “A Ribeira” forest or hike up to “O Castelo”, perfect for peaceful walks or hiking routes through native nature.
If cycling is your thing, you’ll enjoy endless trails, ideal for mountain biking. And if you want to go horseback riding, the Antela racetrack is just 10 minutes away.
Very close by, you’ll find the natural parks of Baixa Limia Serra do Xurés (cross-border), O Invernadeiro (by appointment), and Serra da Enciña da LastraThere, you’ll be able to discover natural pools, waterfalls, and magical spots to explore.

Cultural and historical heritage

Verín, Monterrei Castle and the Rock Wine Presses of Oímbra, (20 min) perfect for a trip into Galicia’s past.
Allariz (20 min): a medieval historic-artistic complex, outlet shops, trails, and local festivals; such as, Festa do Boi or Festa da Empanada.
Celanova (25 min): home to the impressive Monastery of San Salvador in the main square.
Aquis Querquennis, a Roman archaeological site on the ancient Vía Nova (half an hour away), where you can discover how the Romans lived between the 1st and 2nd centuries.

Ribeira Sacra, the Sil River Spectacle

Just an hour away, Ribeira Sacra will amaze you with the Sil River canyons, its monasteries, its incredible vineyards, and its heroic winemaking.

Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, the oldest preserved hermitage sanctuary in Galicia.

Wine Routes and Thermal Tourism

Verín (23 min) and its surroundings offer wine tourism options among vineyards, wineries, and tastings.
Very nearby, just across the border, you can visit Chaves (Portugal) (40 min), with its public thermal baths, historic old town, and local cuisine.
In Ourense city (30 min): relax in the famous hot springs of As Burgas, Chavasqueira, and O Tinteiro.

What wonderful apartments! They have everything you could possibly need and the decor is super cool. On top of that, you arrive to find a basket with fruit, breakfast items, chocolates... simply luxurious. The hosts, Rosy and Roberto, are amazing—so friendly and attentive to every detail. You can really tell when someone does something with passion! We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

Our stay was wonderful. The accommodation is top-notch; everything is brand new and spotless. The hosts, Rosi and Roberto, are very lovely and made everything so easy for us, as we were traveling with a young child. 100% recommended! We will be back!

Wonderful. I recommend it with my eyes closed. 10/10 service from the hosts. The facilities are brand new and decorated with incredible taste. The rooms are spotless and very cozy. It's so peaceful here; if you want to disconnect for a few days, there is no better place. We will definitely be back.

Y porque no puedo poner más estrellas… ha sido una experiencia maravillosa hospedarnos en O Campiño. Un apartamento precioso en un pueblo precioso y súper tranquilo, donde no ha faltado detalle. Pero destacaría sobre todo la atención de Rosi y Roberto, que no ha podido ser más exquisita desde el minuto 1. Nos prepararon desayunos adaptados a nuestros gustos y a la hora que nos venía bien a nosotros.
Fuimos con nuestra bebé de 8 meses y nos dejaron a nuestra disposición una cuna y una bañera para bebés, además de una trona. Y además, un regalito para ella también.
En fin, que no les ha faltado detalle.
Una maravilla de lugar y de anfitriones.

Without a doubt, one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in.

It's fully equipped, decorated with exquisite taste and attention to every detail. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is simply unbeatable.

Wonderful accommodation that has everything you need. We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful village in Ourense and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Everything was new, comfortable, clean… better than at home!!! Rosi as a host is priceless — anything we needed, she responded immediately.
